Asus is adding a new models, the O!Play Air HDP-R3 to its O!Play line of HD media player, which serves as the follow-up to the HDP-R1. As its name suggests, the new HDP-R3 does media streaming over the air  thanks to its WiFi 802.n connectivity.

The O!Play Air HDP-R3 includes a USB 2.0 port, a eSATA/USB combo port as well as a multi-in-one card reader fot F, SD/MMC and Memory Stick cards. It supports most media formats including MPEG1/2/4, H.264, VC-1, RM/RMVB files. The HD player offers HDMI 1.3 video output for High Definition enjoyment. There is also a Ethernet LAN port for network connection, in addition to WiFi.

Dell officially announced its Adamo XPS, the latest addition to the company’s Adamo line, which is the world’s thinnest notebook PC, measuring 9.99mm or just four-tenths of an inch. With the swipe of a finger, the keyboard appears from under the display as the system is open. When opened, the body of the Adamo XPS is raised so the keyboard is angled to enhance cooling.

In addition to Motorola DROID, Verizon’s second Android phone is the HTC DROID ERIS. As reported before, the DROID serves as Verizon’s brand for its Android lineup. The HTC ERIS sports a Qualcomm MSM7600 528MHz processor, 512MB ROM and 288MB RAM. It runs Android Cupcake OS and includes the HTC Sense UI.

The DROID ERIS features a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen, a trackball, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS support and WiFi 802.11b/g connectivity. It has a microSD/SDHC card slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The handset offers seamless compatibility with Google services like Google Maps, Gmail, Google Search and more. It gets Flash Lite player as well.

The HTC DROID ERIS supports dual-band 800/1900MHz, CDMA2000 1xRTT/1xEVDO Rev. A networks. It is available from Verizon for $99.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year contract.

Other than the Samsung Convoy, Verizon launches also the new LG Chocolate Touch music phone that is equipped with Dolby Mobile audio enhancement technology. The Dolby Mobile equalizer offers Sound Space for Headphones, Natural Bass, High-Frequency Enhancer and Sound Level Controller to enhance listeners experience.

The Chocolate Touch features a touchscreen display, a 3.2 Megapixel camera and Bluetooth with stereo. As a music phone, the new Chocolate has a dedicated side key for easy access to favorite songs and FM tuner. The new Chocolate offers easy access to Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and other social networking sites and there is a shortcut key for users to upload pictures and videos to social networking sites.

The LG Chocolate Touch is available for $79.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a 2-year contract.

Verizon launches Samsung Convoy (SCH-U640), a rugged Push-to-Talk mobile phone that meets the military specifications 810F standards for shock and dust resistance, vibration, salt fog, humidity, solar radiation, altitude and low and high temperature storage.

The Convoy is a clamshell that comes in Charcoal grey. It has a an internal color display and an external display, a 2 Megapixel camera with Night Shot, Bluetooth 2.1 and support for EVDO Rev.A 3G network.

The Samsung Convey will be available Nov. 15 for $49.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year contract.

Here is eStarling’s new WiFi 802.11n-enabled touchscreen digital photo frame. The device supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n connecitivty as well as Ethernet LAN. Thanks to the internet connection, the new frame is able to access feeds from Flickr, Gmail, Picasa, Facebook..etc. There is even a Twitter app.

eStarling’s touchscreen frame can play short videos (under 20MB) sent by a mobile phone but it is not able to play YouTube or any streaming videos. The frame has a 10.2-inch touchscreen, 2GB internal memory and a SD card slot. It supports most common image files.

RIM’s BlackBerry Curve 8530 smartphone (aka Aries)  finally hits Sprint and Verizon Wireless. This new Curve is basically the CDMA version of the Curve 8520. Like the 8520, the new 8530 features a 320×240 LCD display, a 2 Megapixel camera and a QWERTY keyboard.
