LG announces in Korea its W2286L, a 22-inch LED-backlit LCD HDTV/monitor. The W2286L features a 1680×1050 resolution and 2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, The 22-inch display is eco-friendly that it consumes 40% less energy than other 22-inch monitors, thanks to the Auto Brightness adjustment function. LG W2286L has two HDMI inputs.

NEC adds to its LaVie Light series the LaVie Light Lui Mobile that is equipped with option WiMAX connectivity. As a netbook, the configuration is pretty standard sporting an Intel Atom N28- 1.66GHz processor, 1GB RAM and 160GB hard drive.

The LaVie Light Lui Mobile has a 10.1-inch 1024×600 LCD display, a SD/SDHC card slot, a 1.3 Megapixel webcam. It supports Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11n. WiMAX can be added to the netbook. It is also pre-loaded with Lui Remote Desktop VNC client. The netbook will be released on 9 July.

Dell launches the Inspiron 546, AMD-powered desktop PC. The desktop is boosted by AMD processor ranging from AMD Sempron LE-1300 2.3GHz to more advanced AMD Phenom X4 Quad-Core 9650 2.3GHz. It equipped with up to 2GB-8GB RAM and ATI Radeon HD3200 integrated graphics. The Inspiron 546 pack up to 500GB hard drive and a 16X DVD burner.

The base configuration gets 2GB RAM and a 320GB hard drive. It comes without monitor and costs $269. The desktop has a minitower case with Black Bezel.

iBuyPower launches the new Paladin XLC Series gaming desktop PCs that are powered by Core i7 processor and are liquid-cooled. These PCs are packed inside Coolermaster HAF 932 Full Tower Gaming Case and use Asetek Liquid CPU Cooling System with a 240mm Radiator.

Three models are available, the Paladin XLC Series V1, the entry-level model, gets an Intel Core i7-920 processor, 6GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 275 896MB graphics. It has a 1TB hard drive and a 22X DVD SuperMulti burner. It costs $1399.

The mid-range model Paladin XLC Series V2 is boosted by Core i7-950 processor, 6GB RAM, dual 1TB hard drive and dual ATI Radeon 4890 1GB graphics card. The price is $2159.

The top-of-the-line Paladin XLC Series V3 boasts a Core i7-975 Extreme Edition processor, 12GB RAM and three NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 2GB graphics cards. It has a 80GB Intel SSD and a 1.5TB hard drive. Both V2 and V3 have a 22X DVD burner and a 6X Blu-ray/DVD Burner combo. The V3 is priced at $4366.

Swimovate presents the Pool-Mate watch, a fully automatic lap and stroke counter for swimmers. The Pool-Mate utilizes motion sensors and Swimovate’s unique software algorithms to automatically recognises each swim stroke and change of lap with a 99.75 percent accuracy in all pools longer than 10 meters. It will show you Lap count, Time, Average Strokes per lap, Speed, Distance, Calories and Efficiency.

The watch can store up to 99 individual sets per session so users can see how their data changes through a swim. The Pool-Mate will be available in July for $114.

National Geographic and Cellular Abroad launches its Duet Talk Abroad travel phone that allows users to stay connected in over 200 countries over the world. The Duet supports tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900 MHz) for global roaming and has two SIM card slot so you can take two numbers with you.

Priced at $199, the Duet comes included a National Geographic SIM card with 30 minutes of credit and an UK-based phone number. It can receive unlimited free incoming calls in over 99 countries. The phone has built-in analog TV and FM tuner and two VGA cameras. It is pre-loaded with wallpapers, ringtones, and National Geographic Channel video content.

Chinese company Inkia brings two new Atom-powered MIDs, the MID 5-inch and the MID 7-inch. These two MIDs have a 5-inch and 7-inch touchscreen respectively, both with 800×480 resolution. They run either Windows XP or Linux OS.
