TomTom brings two new GPS navigation devices for Walmart’s Black Friday specials, the ONE 125 SE and the XL 325 SE. The former gets a 3.5-inch touchscreen while the latter has a 4.3-inch touchscreen. They have maps of the US and millions of point of interest pre-loaded and supports spoken instructions and text to speech.

Other common features include TomTom Map Share technology, TomTom Home application that keeps the device up-to-date, optional RDS-TMC traffic receiver for real-time traffic, and optional Fuel Prices services.

These GPS devices will be available exclusively at Walmart starting on Black Friday, which begins in Walmart stores at 5:00 AM Friday, 27 November 2009. The ONE 125 SE costs $59 and the XL 325 SE is priced at $89.

AT&T and Pantech launched in the US the new Impact mobile phone, which is first announced in early October. The side-flip Impact has a haptic touchpad and a small screen outside. Flip open of the phone reveals the QWERTY keyboard and a larger color display.

Pantech’s Impact supports A-GPS and AT&T Navigator service for voice-guided, turn-by-turn directions in real time. The handset supports 3G and gets a full HTML browser. The Impact is available for $99.99 after mail-in rebate with 2-year contract.

The original Core 2 Solo U220 1.2GHz processor has been replaced by a more powerful Intel Core 2 Duo U7700 1.33GHz processor overclocked to 1.438GHz; a 128GB RunCore Pro IV SSD replaced the original 48GB SSD, and the Intel 3945ABG WiFi card has been swapped for the wireless-N capable Intel 4965AGN card.

ArcherMind’s system is equipped with Marvell’s ARM processor and a mobile phone platform. It has a 7-inch 800×480 touchscreen display and supports Bluetooth, WiFi and even WCDMA 3G connectivity.
