Along with its new ThinkPad notebook computers, Lenovo also brings the ThinkPad USB 3.0 Dock, a mulch-functional docking station with USB 3.0 for notebook. The dock is powered by DisplayLink’s DL-3900 Dual Head Graphics chip with integrated Gigabit Ethernet and audio. With dual DVI video ports, you can add multiple displays to your notebook easily.
The new ThinkPad Dock provides five USB 3.0 ports for connecting peripherals, including those latest products with USB 3.0. These USB ports are capable of always-on mobile device charging. There are also Gigabit Ethernet LAN port and a headphone jack. Coming in 15 May, the ThinkPad USB 3.0 Dock is priced at $179.99.

Lenovo expands its ThinkPad Ultrabook lineup with the new X1 Carbon, which is the lightest 14-inch Ultrabook in the industry. By using carbon fiber rollcage, the X1 Carbon is a durable Ultrabook weighing less than 3 pounds. Pioneer launches the Elite VSX-42 and Elite VSX-60 AV receivers for users who wants not just audio quality but control and connectivity. The 7.1-channel VSX-42 offers 80-watt x 7 power output while the VSX-60 delivers 90-watt x 7 power. In addition to wired Ethernet connectivity for access to network content (vTuner, Pandora), they also support AirPlay and DLNA 1.5. Users can also add WiFi support to the latter using the optional AS-WL300 network adapter. They allow users to control their home entertainment system using portable devices using the ControlApp and iControlAV2012 applications.

Nokia unveiled four new affordable mobile phones, the Nokia 110 and 112 with dual-SIM capability and their single-SIM variant, Nokia 111 and 113. All these phones come in classic candy-bar form factor and feature a 1.8-inch color display, a VGA camera and Bluetooth. They all offer access to Facebook, Twitter and social networking sites, and the 112/113 adds eBuddy IM.

Toshiba’s adds 1.5TB models to its Canvio 3.0 and Canvio Basics 3.0 USB hard drives. The Canvio USB 3.0 hard drives both come with a special internal shock sensor and ramp loading technology to protect files against accidents and drops. Using USB 3.0 interface, they can deliver a higher data transfer speeds. Both drives are compatible with Mac.
The Canvio 3.0 comes pre-loaded with software that provides file, folder and full system back-up and recovery. It also includes a NTFS driver for Mac that allows users to easily swap data between Macs and PCs without having to reformat the drive. The 1.5TB models of Canvio 3.0 and Canvio Basics 3.0 are priced at $199.99 and $189.99, respectively. There are also 1TB, 750GB and 500GB models starting at $109.99.

NEC announced that its MultiSync EA273WM has got the iF Product Design Award for 2012. The 27-inch widescreen monitor is intended for enterprise users and it is designed by Naoto Fukasawa, an internationally-known, award-winning industrial designer. It features Full HD 1920×1080 native resolution, 300cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time and WLED-backlit that significantly reduce power consumption. Though based on TN panel, the monitor still offer 178/178-degree wide viewing angle.
