Apple unveiled 17-inch MacBook Pro

Apple officially unveiled today its new 17-inch MacBook Pro laptop which is powered by a 2.16GHz Intel Core Duo processor, 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (Max 2GB), a 667 MHz front-side bus, an ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 PCI Express graphics card with 256MB memory and a built-in iSight video camera. The 17-inch screen has a solution of 1680×1050 pixels and 300cd/m2 brightness.
The new MacBook Pro has also FireWire 400/800 ports, three USB 2.0 ports, optical/digital audio input/output, built-in Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, and integrated AirPort Extreme 54Mbit/s 802.11g Wi-Fi connectivity.It will run on Mac OS X 10.4.6 TigerĀ and comes with Apple’s iChat AV and iLife 06.
The new Intel Mac is only 25.4mm thin and weighs only 3kg. Itl will start shipping next week at the price of $3,576.
