World’s First Blu-ray Disc Recorder

AMEX DIGITAL Corporation from Hong Kong announced that the world’s first Blu-ray disc recorder, the M505-BDR will be available in Euro market on August 28th. The machine comes with Intel Core Duo 2 processor, 4GB of DDR2 RAM and 1.5TB of Harddisk Drive.

For connectivity, it has WiFi b/g, 100/1000Mb network, Fire Wire IEEE1394, S/P DIF in/out interface and through the HDMI digital interface it can up-converts conventional DVDs to 1080p. The machine runs on Windows MCE 2005 and supports CD and all DVD formats including, DVD-RAM, DVD-RW, DVD-R, DVD+RW, and DVD+R.
