Fifth Gear’s Tom Ford takes out the all-new Mazda MX5 for a road test. The Mazda MX5 has a 2L DOHC inline-4 engine which produces 170hp @ 6700rpm and 140 lb-ft torque @ 5000rpm.
Tom Ford drives the Mazda MX-5 Roadster Coupe. Gone are the days of storing your roof in your garden shed – the brand new MX-5 now comes with a folding hard top. Cars with this type of roof offer more security and comfort when up, but seem to swallow all the boot space when down.

Korean company Trigem offers a new product in its Averatec line. The Trigem Averatec 1500 is powered by  a 1.06GHz Core Duo ULV U2400, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, a 100GB SATA hard disk and has a 11.1-inch WXGA display, Wi-Fi a/b/g. At the LA AutoShow, Nissan shows the 2008 Altima Coupe. It will be powered by either a 170-hp, 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine or the yummy 3.5-liter VQ V6 rated at 270 horsepower and 258 ft-lbs. Both available with either an Xtronic CVT or 6-speed manual. There are no info about pricing and it will be available in showrooms next summer.
The Altima Coupe, as part of the fourth-generation Altima design, utilizes Nissan’s all-new, highly acclaimed “D” platform with increased body rigidity and a redesigned suspension. This new platform was developed with the objective of making Altima one of the best performing large front-wheel drive vehicles available globally.

Other than 6300, Nokia 6290 is another new phone from Nokia. The Nokia 6290 is a 3G phone features a 2.2-inch 320×240 16million colors TFT LCD and a 1.36-inch 262k colors secondary display. It has a 2 Megapixel camera and a second camera for video call, Music player supporting MP3,M4A,eAAC+, FM Radio, and 2.5mm audio connector, InfraRed, Bluetooth and USB connectivities. It will also be avaialble in Q1 2007.

Ford unveils the Mustang Giugiaro concept car, which is powered by a 500hp supercharged 4.6L 3-valve V8 from the Mustang GT.

The Mustang by Giugiaro concept was fully developed in the family run studio in Turin, Italy. It’s powered by a supercharged version of the 4.6L 3-valve V8 from the Mustang GT and delivers an estimated 500hp. The suspension has also been upgraded with new Dynamic-tuned dampers, lowered springs and anti-sway bars that ride on 20in wheels with 275mm tires at the front and huge 315mm rubber at the rear. Now all Ford has to do is remove the ‘Brokeback Mountain’ interior and actually build the damn thing.
