Brabus_Rocket.jpg

Brabus Rocke  is created to be the world’s fastest sedan. Rocket beat it’s own record while hooning around the Nardo test track earlier this week. Watch video after the jump.
Since mere words can’t do such a vehicle justice, we’ve procured a few videos of the ultimate saloon in action. The interviews and voiceovers are in German, but it’s irrelevant since the really important noises are coming from the engine bay and exhaust.

Lamborghini Gallardo vs.Ducati 999 motorcycle

November 25th, 2006 by Sze | No Comments | Filed in Transportation, Video

Lamborghini_Gallardo.jpg

Lamborghini Gallardo is taken up by Tiff Needell of Fifth Gear to race against a Ducati 999 motorcycle. Watch the video after the jump to see which one wins.
The Gallardo design vision was initiated in the year 2000. The challenging and simultaneously fascinating task of our designers was to cultivate the attributes from Lamborghini and combine them in an extremely individual packaging.

The Lamborghini V10 cylinder DOHC four valve V90 5 liter, 500 Hp, 510 Nm, is the concept solution for the high performance Gallardo. Instead of the more classical choice of a V72, an angle of 90 degrees was preferred in order to limit the height of the engine with advantages in the car layout (e.g. lower engine bonnet and better rear view) and in the lowering of the centre of gravity (i.e. better car dynamic characteristics).

FlexibleLove _16_chair.jpg

Using an accordian-like, honeycomb structure , the seats one to sixteen. It seats one when it is compacted, but it can be stretched to seat as many as sixteen individuals. Recycled materials such as post-consumer recycled paper and post-industrial recycled wood are used to make the chair and it uses pre-existing production processes to reduce environmental impact during manufacture. The chair weighs 25kgs and it can support weight up to 1200kgs. After the jump is a short video.
The name “FlexibleLove” erived from the concept of a “flexible love-seat” - seating that could hold from one to as many as sixteen individuals; changing length and shape with a simple pull at each end. A honeycomb structure, used throughout the entire FlexibleLove line, produces an accordian-like result that allows each piece to be collapsed and extended with ease.

Nokia N95 Reviewed (Video)

November 25th, 2006 by Sze | No Comments | Filed in Mobile Phone

Nokialist is able to get a pre-production N95 and gives us a early review. The Nokia N95 is a HSDPA phone featuring a 2.6-inch QVGA display, 5.0-megapixel camera, GPS, 802.11g Wi-Fi, 150MB built-in memory, microSD card slot, ATI 3D graphics chip, a 3.5mm audio jack. It will be available early next year. Watch the video after the brak and here is Nokialist’s conclusion:
We have to admit, the N95 has grabbed our attention very much, although we have tested a pre production unit. Forget about all the details we mentioned above, the N95 gives you the feeling of being in control of what you want to do. I look at it from this angle and ask myself: howmany gadgets I’ll quit from now on.

Although we think there are some things that would make the N95 even better, such as the joystick, its current offering is really great. We are not going to rate it based on this early beta unit, but if we were going to do that, we don’t think it would score anything less 95%. Justimagine how would the final product be rated. If some people still misunderstand Nokia’s concept of “multimedia computers” I believe this device is Nokia’s definite reply.

Ferrari FXX Road Test

November 24th, 2006 by Sze | 2 Comments | Filed in Transportation, Video

Ferrari_FXX.jpg

This Ferrari FXX is powered by a 6.2L V12 engine which produces an incredible 800hp @ 8500rpm. The FXX was limited to just 20 production units when it is first instroduced and it costs 1.8 million. Motor Authoriy shows us road test video of the sport car.
The FXX is significantly different underneath the skin to the already stunning Enzo. The FXX’s 800hp and 508 pound-feet of torque easily beat the Enzo’s numbers, not to mention the 500-odd pound weight advantage. Only 29 lucky souls were chosen to buy a FXX from Ferrari, and their driving experiences were used as part of the development process for future models.
Watch video after the break.
