History of the Ferrari F40 (Video)

November 23rd, 2006 by Sze | No Comments | Filed in Transportation, Video

ferrari_f40.jpg

Motor Authority wants to refresh our memory on the legendary Ferrari F40. Just watch the video after the jump.
Ferrari’s first 200mph car was truly extreme, ditching all the niceties of a road car to be as close to a race car as possible. The paint was so thin you could see the carbon-fiber weave inside, and the whole car weighed just 1100kg. With a 478hp turbocharged V8 it could hit 0-60mph in just 3.2 seconds, a result that would still be impressive today. It’’s hard to imagine this car was running around almost 20 years ago.

Chrome BMW M3

November 23rd, 2006 by Sze | 3 Comments | Filed in Transportation

chrome_BMW_M3_1.jpg

Tired of the color of your car? May be you can just “chrome” it. One more pic below.
One crazy owner of an E46 M3 was not happy with the way his car drove or looked, so he added a Flossman GTR-style wide body kit, supercharged the inline six motor to the tune of 600hp and then stacked the boot with an audio system that looks like it came out of a flying saucer. Oh yeah, then he decked out the whole thing in chrome.
