Sony announces Memory Stick PRO-HG

Sony and SanDisk announced the new Memory Stick PRO-HG memory card format.
The new format can have up to 32GB of capacity and write speed of up to 60MB/sec. Compare to SDHC format which cannot work with old SD devices, the Memory Stick PRO-HG format can be used with the old Memory Stick Pro devices. Cards powered by the new format are expected to be launched at CES in January.
