ASUS J501 Slim Slider can also be a Skype Phone

Asus shows its third slider phone, the J501. The Asus J501 features a 2.2p-inch 260k color QVGA TFT LCD screen, a 2 Megapixel camera with Auto focus, Media player, FM Radio, Bluetooth A2DP and microSD slot. With the Bluetooth, you can use the phone to listen to your favorite songs with no wires and it can even be a Skype phone by connecting the phone and your PC via Bluetooth. The phone has also built-in Longman dictionary.
The phone is really slim that it measures 103 x 48 x 16.6 mm and weighs 100g. More pictures after the break.

I’m happy that the Philippines is one of few countries where this model unit has an early launching. i just got one today and i’m happy with its features though i was more interested to get the J502 which was said to be available only in Taiwan.

i bought my asus j501 phone 2 weeks ago, it’s my 7th mobile phone, and so far it’s the best one that have. the skype feature is so cool ‘coz i can call abroad for less. and for those mobile phone junkies, i recommend you get this one. it has a simple elegant look,but it really rocks!!!

i have a problem regarding d bluetooth i cant receive files the message such as “write file failed” shows up and sometimes “unfinished” pls help.. Also, the battery only last for about 5 hrs is dat normal?? pls answer asap

juz bought an asus j501 and its really d best phone i have. the features of d phone is great.. So far i don’t encounter problem with the phone yet.. Just wanna know if its micro sd can be expand up to 2gb?

i have problem with my battery yah it only last 5hrs. and i have this warning every time i charge my phone “battery is in bad contact” but after a few minutes it will not show any more pls help kindly send me an email for the reply
