Aliph Bluetooth Jawbone: Noise is Nothing
by Sze | Filed under Mobile Phone, Video
Aliph released the Bluetooth Jawbone headset which can offer a military level of noise reduction. The Bluetooth Jawbone can “regulates and adjusts sound quality 500 times per second depending on the outside conditions”. In the official website, it gives us a video demo, watch it after the jump.
The headset looks stylish, do you like it?

Hi,
I have one of these. Red one.
Yes it does work well.
It is stylish
It has a reasonable battery life..
BUT
having this on for say… an hour becomes slightly aching around the ear, where the support is. Tried adjusting but I think its not meant to wear for extended periods of over an hour. Good unit though.
The spring that holds the set against your cheek is slack. I realise the contact point is really sensitive, but if I tilt my head slightly to the side of the unit, then the unit moves away from the jaw. So for it to work consistently , I have to have my head tilted slightly to the other side or at the very least vertical. Certainly not jogging or moving at all.
The voice level does raise when you go to a louder area, but the amount to which it raises is not enough to compensate for say… a jack hammer or whipper snipper. This has to be balanced against battery life but, I presume for short periods an enhanced large volume would be okay.
I think this is a good unit but improvements can be made.
regards
Rod.
