NTTDoCoMo NEC N703iD ‘Toy’ Phone

The NTTDoCoMo NEC N703iD looks like a platic-made toy, but it is “designed in collaboration with noted art and creative director Kashiwa Sato”. The N703iD has a 2.3-inch 260k color QVGA TFT LCD, a 2.1-inch Organic EL subscreen, a 1.3 Megapixel camera which can work well in dark settings and a 0.3 Megapixel inner camera for video calls.
The NTTDoCoMo NEC N703iD measures 96×48x15.9mm for 103 grams and it is available in Yelloe, White, Navy and Pink colors.

It’s worth it and it’s not. The phones are usually between 6,000 and 20,000 yen with is $52-$174 on auction. Be carefull with moke up phones (they dont actully work). Unless thats what you want, if you just like the design then thats the best route being it wont work anywhere but japan anyways. If you really really want a working one though it’ll never make calls or connect to any sort of foreign network. ALl that will work are some of the apps that don’t require network connection, it’ll pretty much just be a piece of electronic art that you can’t use until you’re in japan. lol.
If you’re lucky like me you have friends in Japan to buy a previously owned or new one. My friend showed me some on yahoo japan auctions. The only catch is you need to know someone that you can paypal in japan that the seller can ship the phone to because none of them will ship these phones internationally. So basically, you have to find someone that’ll do it for you (even though no one in japan is supposed to), then you have to pay them for the price of the phone, the shipping to their home in japan, then for the shipping to where ever.
Do you possibly know if there is an online site where it can be purchased?

probably the phone is now available only in Japan and even we can get it, we have to unlock it before we can use it
Yeah same does anyone know where I can purchase this?
If anybody knows where I can purchase this phone online in the US I will gladly paypal a finders fee, I’ve been looking everywhere.
