Sony Handycam HDR-HC7 High Definition MiniDV Camcorder

Other than the DVD version and the HDD version of High Definition camcorder, Sony has the MiniDV camcorder, the HDR-HC7 featuring the x.v.Color technilogy.
The HDR-HC7 can record and play back “both high definition (HD) and standard definition (SD) video recorded on a standard MiniDV cassette”. It has a 3.2 Megapxiel CMOS sensor which allows you to capture 4.6 Megapixel of still images, a Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T Lens with 10x optical zoom and 20x digital zoom.
Sony Handycam HDR-HC7 has a 2.7-inch LCD widescreen, a Memory Stick Duo slot.
