Casio presents the EXILIM Hi-ZOOM EX-V7 digital camera. It is claimed to be the world’s thinnest digital camera with 7X optical zoom. The EX-V7 has 7.1 Megapixel CCD sensor, 11.6 Internal memory, and a SD slot supporting SDHC. The camera can capture videos in MOV format with H.264/AVC codecs.

The Casio EXILIM Hi-ZOOM EX-V7 measures 99.5×25.5×59.8mm and weighs 149g. It is available in teo colors, Black (EX-V7BK) and silver (EX-V7SR).

OKWAP announced the S868 Pocket PC Phone running the Windows Mobile 5.0 for PPC OS. The S868 is powered by an Intel PXA270 416 MHz, 128 MB ROM / 64 MB RAM. It has also a 2.4-inch TFT screen, a 2 Megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, a SD/MMC card slot suppporting SDIO and support for OCR / BCR / QR 2D Barcode.

The most interesting point of the OKWAP S868 is that it comes with a iPod Click Wheel-like navagation system. The number keys around the key 5 are actually part of the touch-sensitive system, just like the click wheel you see in Apple iPod.

The OKWAP S868 measures 107 x 52 x 17.8 mm for 122 g and it is now available in Taiwan for a suggested price of 15000 Taiwan Dollars.

The HP TouchSmart IQ770 has also NTSC TV tuner and over-the-air ATSC high-definition television tuner, a built-in 1.3 Megapixel camera. It will comw with wireless keyboard and mouse, and a Media Center Remote Control and a 19-inch wide LCD display.

ThoughtFix has disassembled the Nokia N800. The N800 is an Internet Tablet powered by a 320 MHz CPU, 128 MB of RAM and it has a 4.1-inch LCD screen with 800×400 resolution and 256MB of flash memory.

There is really nothing to see inside - it’s well engineered and comes apart relatively easy, but there is no undocumented hardware like the Nokia 770’s microphone when it was released. All the chips are covered by soldered-on RF shielding so they cannot be read. The back of the PCB is all “antenna space” so even the circuit traces cannot be followed.
