iDo S601 Pocket PC Phone

Other than the P890 and the S630, iDo presents also the S601, a light weight Pocket PC phone which weighs 140 g.
THe iDo S601 is powered by a Freescale i.MX21 350 MHz processor, 128MB ROMã€ÂÂ64MB RAM and runs the Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC Phone Edition OS.
It has a 2.8-inch 260k colors LCD touch-scrren, a 1.3 Megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth with A2DP, InfraRed, QR-Code, support for MPEG4 / H.263 video and has a miniSD card slot. The S601 also comes with a cover, with number keys, to protect the screen.It measures 109 x 55 x 21.5 mm.
The phone is now available in Hong Kong for about $4000 Hong Kong dollars ($520USD) and there are two colors, grey and white.

hey guys, i have my mobile IDO S601 mobile but unfurtunately it doesnt work anywork.
whenever i open the unit i cant see any words or letters in the screen but there is power and raster in the screen. it looks like the software is corrupted, anybody knows how and tell me on how to solve the problem?

am bout 2 buy ido s601 unfortunately i change my mind. because of some comments i encountered in the i-net. i there for conclude that this phone must be disposed before it sold in a nation wide market. thats all folks. just like jesus said ” amen” and ” praise thy Lord” booyah!!!

Iam from chennai – India , can some help me in getting IDO-S601 battery in india.
I am the IDO S601 user and i have the different problem with my IDO S601. My S601 display touch stick is opposite direction working example touch start menu open anthor program. Whan i touch any specific button then it was selected different button. Thats why i can use my PDA and sometimes my PDA don’t show me ringing alert. Thats why i cant communicate with any person. My another problem is when i receive any call then i cant hear anything.

I am one of the IDO S601 user and I had the same problem with my unit, I manage to unlock the phone by doing the hard reset which means you have to push the switch found in the small hole at the back of your phone labeled reset then you will be able to open your mobile after you do it.

Hello guys,
I got my IDO S601 mobile PC and unfortunately I felt down during the warranty period. The unit was malfunctional. I sent the unit to DUBAI for servicing as per the instruction of their service manager. I was able to get back the repaired unit but I paid around 300USD including the spareparts, and shipping services.

I have a ido s600 mobile too and i have the same problem of Screen broke down since it fell down. I am unable to repair the problem and there is no service center in DUBAI where i purchased the mobile and the service center numbers provided are all fake. Please be aware of all such mobiles friends. If any one get a detail about servicing this mobile please inform me too.

I advise all not to buy such products as maintenance is a big problem.
