The Sony VAIO VGN-C290 is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 1GB or 2GB of RAM, 60-120GB hard drive and Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950. It has also a DVD dual layer burner, a 13.3-inch WXGA (1280×800) LCD display with XBRITE-ECO technology, WiFi 802.11a/b/g, Bluetooth and a 5-in-1 Memory Card Adaptor supporting MS, MS Pro, SD, xD, MMC.
