Toshiba HD-E1 HD-DVD

T3 and TrustedReivews have reviewed the Toshiba HD-E1 HD-DVD player. The Toshiba HD-E1 supports 1080i and 720p. It plays HD DVD, DVD as well as CD and features Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby True HD, DTS-HD(Core) sound. Of course, it has HDMI Output.

T3 says:

Even so, this matches the UK’s early Blu-Ray players for visual quality and wipes the floor with them in terms of price. Add the fact that all of the massive range of US HD-DVD discs will work here, and this should sell quickly. Even if it doesn’t do anything else fast.

TrustedReviews says:

The HD-E1 may be lacking a few of the features that it’s high-end brother will have, but you’ve still got everything you need to make the most of that shiny new HDTV you bought for Christmas. The inclusion of the Ethernet port also means that you’ll be able to receive firmware updates for the player to potentially increase functionality in the future.
