According to Digitimes, Apple is going to ship MacBook laptops with 15.4-inch LCD display in second quarter this year.
Apple is planning to introduce 15.4-inch MacBooks in the second quarter of 2007, according to industry sources in Taiwan. The new model will fill the gap between the company’s 13.3-inch MacBooks and the 15.4- and 17-inch MacBook Pros that form its current notebook line up, and is expected to boost shipments of Apple’s Intel-powered MacBooks, the sources add.

They should have done this since they launched the product. I had to get rid off it cause working with Autocad (vector works for apple platforms) was almost impossible. The visible area was not enough at all. Macbook it´s a really good laptop but i wouldn´t recommend it for those who are planning to use it for design or architecture. Now with my Vaio things go much better. I had the chance to purchase a macbook PRO also but i wouldn´t spend 2000 bucks in something that i will upgrade in a year and a half.
Let´s see what happens if this becomes true.
