I think Canon IXY is mainly for Japan market only. But you can get Canon IXUS 85 IS its american and asian counterpart(same thing). Cheers!

Simple way to change the language of CANON IXY.. turn on the camera. put the slider to play icon then press the function and menu at the same time..and its done!!cheers! you can also check the time by pressing the function about 2 sec. : )

1. turn on the camera
2. click the menu
3. click on the right side of the FUNC. SET. that sign is FLASH select the tools that sign is HAMMER and WRENCH….
4. then scroll down count up to 13 then click the FUNC. SET…
5. select the ENGLISH… YOUR DONE!!!!!!!!!!
