FujiFilm shows at the PMA 2007 the S5700 (also known as S700) digital camera. The FinePix S5700/S700 has a 7.1 Megapixel CCD image sensor, 10x optical zoom, ISO sensitivity up to 1600, a 2.5-inch LCD display. It can record movie in 640×480 resolution at 30fps.

The FujiFilm FinePix S5700 has 27MB internal memory and it supports xD picture card and SD memory card. It measures 106.1 x 75.7 x 80.7 mm and weights 306g.

The FinePix S700 will debut in March 2007 at a retail price of $249.95.

Pentax presents Optio W30 waterproof camera supporting up to 3 meter underwater. The Pentax Optio W30 has a 7.1 Megapixel CCD image sensor, 3x optical zoom, Digital Shock Reduction, 1cm macro. The camera can capturs movie in 640 x 480 resolution at 30fps in QuickTime format.

The W30 uses SD card or SDHC card as storage media. It measures 107.5×54.0×23.5 mm and weights 160g.

Canon announced the new PowerShot SD1000 Digital ELPH digital camera which is the US version of the IXY Digital 10. The PowerShot SD1000 has a 7.1 Megapixel CCD image sensor, DIGIC image processor and 3x optical zoom. Other features include a 2.5-inch LCD screen, ISO up to 1600, Face Catch Technology, PictBridge support and a SD card slot supporting also SDHC.

The Canon PowerShot SD1000 Digital ELPH camera measures 85.9×53.5×19.4mm and weights 125g. It will be available in Mid March.

Canon announced also the new PowerShot SD750 Digital ELPH digital camera which the same as the IXY Digital 90. The PowerShot SD750 Digital ELPH has a 7.1 Megapixel CCD image sensor, DIGIC image processor, 3x optical zoom, ISO up to 1600, Face Catch Technology, PictBridge support and a SD card slot supporting also SDHC. It has also a 3-inch LCD display.

The PowerShot SD750 measures 91.6×56.8×19.6mm and weights 130g. It will be available in Mid March.

Pentax shows the Optio A30 camera with a 10 Megapixel CCD sensor. The A30 features 3x optical zoom with smc PENTAX lens, Digital Shake Reduction, Movie Shake Reduction, ISO rating up to 3200, a 2.5-inch LCD screen, and PictBridge support.

The Optio A30 can captures videos in 640 x 480 resolution at 30fps in DivX MPEG4 format. It uses SD memory card as storage media.

It measures 89.5× 57.5 × 23.5 mm and weight 150g with battery. It will be available in Mid March.

Canon has also announced the new PowerShot A570 IS digital camera. The PowerShot A570 IS has a 7.1 Megapixel CCD image sensor, DIGIC image processor, 4x optical zoom. Other features include ISO up to 1600, a 2.5-inch LCD screen, PictBridge and ExitPrint support, AV-OUT and a SD card slot supporting also SDHC. It is powered by 2 AA batteries.

Canon PowerShot A570 IS measures 89.5×64.3×42.8mm and weights 175g. It will hit the market in Mid March.

Canon announced also the new IXY Digital 90 digital camera. Actually the IXY 90 has exactly the same features as the IXY 10. It also has a a 7.1 Megapixel CCD image sensor, DIGIC image processor, 3x optical zoom, ISO up to 1600, Face Catch Technology, PictBridge support and a SD card slot supporting also SDHC.

The only difference one of the differences are the size and weight. The IXY 90 measures 91.6×56.8×19.6mm and weights 130g while the IXY 10 measures 85.9×53.5×19.4mm and weights 125g. It will also be available in Mid March. Another differnce is the LCD screen size, the IXY90 has 3-inch one while the IXY 10 one is only 2.5-inch.

Canon announced the new PowerShot TX1 HD camcorder which looks like Sanyo’s Xacti cameras. Canon PowerShot TX1 features a 7.1 Megapixel CCD image sensor, 10X optical zoom, 4x digital zoom and the DIGIC III image processor. The TX1 can record movies in 1280×720 HD resolution (16:9) at 30fps. It supports up to ISO 1800 and has a 1.8-inch TFT LCD screen. THe PowerShot TX1 uses SD or SDHC as storage media.

Canon PowerShot TX1 measures 88.8×29x59.9mm and weights 220g and will be available in Mid March.
