We have seen some new DIGA HDD/DVD recorders, now here are the 3-in-1 recorders from Panasonic, DIGA DMR-XW41V, DMR-XP21V supporting HDD, DVD and VHS.
The Panasonic DIGA DMR-XW41V has 500GB hard drive space and supports recording in hard drive, VHS tape and DVD-RAM, DVD-R/RW, DVD-R DL. It supports playback from DVD-RAM, DVD+/-R, DVD+/-RW, DVD+/-R Dual Layer and music CDs. The recorder supports 1080i output, and has 100BASE-TX LAN and a SD card supporting SDHC and SD Audio.
Panasonic DIGA DMR-XP21V is more or less than same as the DMR-XW41V except it has only 250GB hard drive capacity and it doesn’t support SD Audio.
I agree on that part of releasing them outside of Japan. I would like to get another model to be use with the one that I have currently.
Why can’t Panasonic get their act together and launch these products outside of Japan. I’m living in Europe and I could really use either one of these models…
