CECT P168 - iPhone Clone

You probably have heard of the Meizu MiniOne, which is an Apple iPhone clone (though the specification is better). Here is another iPhone clone from China, the CECT P168.
The CECT P168 looks really like the iPhone, even the wallpaper has been copied. The CECT P168 has a 3.5-inch QVGA LCD touchscreen, a 2 Megapixel camera (actual resolution: 1.3 Megapixel). It has integrated music player, video player, dictionary.
The CECT P168 has two SIM card slot, unfortunately you can’t use the two SIMs at the same time but have to switch between them.

seriously, has anyone ever found any reason why the calls dont work? cuz i wud then suggest no one buying this phone, if u cant receive a call, then might as well kick it into the river

I have the cect p 168 tried to load songs as ringers…it accepted 3 then said it was full. I’d like to delete some of the generic files with the phone but can’t figure out how to get them off so I can add my own songs - it just keeps saying full…anyone know how to remove the ringers already there?

The reset code for the P168 is 1122 but it is already unlocked.

Zydalgo, YOU HAVE BEEN THE MOST HELPFUL!!!!! And for that I want to THANK U THANK U THANK U!!!! The posting on Dec. 21st was the most helpful.
Ok with that posting I was able to go as far as getting on the internet, got as far as to download mms messages to view pix but it gets stuck at where it says Downloading 0% then gives me an error message “Message downloading failed”. This also happens when I try to send a message… It states Sending MMS PLEASE WAIT 0% then it gives me an error message “Error in communication”. I wasn’t able to get this far b4 following your instruction on dec. 21st.
Sooo Am I missing a step? Can you PLEASE PLEASE help me with this?

In regards to an earlier post about davismicro.com selling the P168 at the best price, you are wrong.
The sell the P168 at $139.00, plus you have to pay handling and shipping fees, bring the total price to $168.00. Not so cheap now is it.

T-mobile does use the 850 band in some areas. it sounds like you either need the 850 band or have a defective phone.

Hi everybody!
Just received the phone today and my son is very unhappy (me too)! It was his birthday gift and now we can’t answer any calls ( svc. provider T mobile ). When we answer through green button or through the screen the call will drop.
Also there is a continuous noise int he background. Well we just had it for few hours and didn’t find out all the issues yet, so I don’t know at this point if it was a good gift idea.
If anyone could help would be great and thanx a lot!

I have the china Iphone model A88 in Macedonia but i have one problem, i can not get entry at interenet with the same. I try to ask in my T-mobile operator but they told me that they do not having the settings for the same model.
Any advice how can i make to get entry in interent by wap.

Can anyone advice me how to unlock my phone as when I intend to upload new software in my iphone, the phone was locked automatically and subsequent prompted me for Energency call. What should I do to unlock and replce my SIM card?

P168 (or P168 ) doesn’t support JAVA.
Don’t try to install any applications on it.

So far, the P168 is a stable and verfied 850 MHz band working Chinese iPhone clone. The quality is better than others. Since there are lot of sellers, you don’t have to buy it from me. But I highly recommend this phone.

Some of the phones that you have listed are still unstable for sale according to my contacts, like the LH01. I agree that many sellers will have the Y32 when it is ready.

I have 4 different suppliers in Shenzhen and 3 of them have a sample now of the Y32. I tust them completely as they have not lied to me before. When the Y32 appears on the market, we will all see if it is real or not. There will be no news until at least next week as this is a major holiday in China to honor their dead. I have not been known to lie before.

Idk, you may be right.I have a good friend/buisness partner in china who knows some of the factories, none of them said they have heard of no Y32, or H168 with thoose specifications.

Oh come on!!! there are a lot of clone factories in Shenzhen alone. The Y32 is a real phone that is only out in samples now. it is supposed to be released soon as a quad band with java and is not from the hiphone or P168 factory(s). It is a real phone. I would love to know who you “called” as most of the factories are underground and phones can only be obtained in person at the market window or from a “rep”. Quad band is a common advertisment from China as it has not worked on the P168, Hiphone or A88 so it may not work on this phone as well. When it is out and tested, I will make a youtube video. I have a sample reserved as soon as they are out, possible next week.
