CECT P168 – iPhone Clone

You probably have heard of the Meizu MiniOne, which is an Apple iPhone clone (though the specification is better). Here is another iPhone clone from China, the CECT P168.
The CECT P168 looks really like the iPhone, even the wallpaper has been copied. The CECT P168 has a 3.5-inch QVGA LCD touchscreen, a 2 Megapixel camera (actual resolution: 1.3 Megapixel). It has integrated music player, video player, dictionary.
The CECT P168 has two SIM card slot, unfortunately you can’t use the two SIMs at the same time but have to switch between them.

Hi can you tell me if this phone cect p168 will work with at&t wireless formerly cingular and would I be able to use all of it’s functions. The reason i’m inquiring is that the majority of the persons on this site are unhappy with the phone. I just want it work that is all. Is it best to order from the states or from china? And if so why? If you can provide any input on this phone and it’s carriers it’ll be much appreciated.
I love my phone, but I’m having trouble connecting to the internet. I don’t know how to get to the spot to input the WAP IP. Please help.

have a problem with my phone works great but when i get to work it shows emergancy across the top of the phone and i can’t send or recieve messages or call and recieve calls. has anyone ran into this problem the phone would not work with my old sim card purchased a new card and had then set it up and it works everywhere that i have had it at except for my work. any info will be greatly appreciated. talked to my carrier and they said that my work address is in the gps 1900 mhz as with my home where the phone is great. any into again is greatly appreciated.

Hi, I just recently got a cect p168 phone it’s a great phone but i can’t seem to load any videos it keeps teling me invalid video file.I tried using the cect file encoder for mp4 but still nothing anyone have a solutionto this problem? the phone will record video and take pictures but when i try to load videos that are mp4 it will not play it it just says invalid video file! and thats it!? so please if anyone knows why this is happening please let me know hit me at hayabusaz900@hotmail.com Thank You

Just ordered the phone and cant wait to get it. Just interested in knowing if anyone has used this phone on the Suncom network. I’ve noticed most people have Cingular, AT&T and Sprint but no one has mentioned Suncom. Let me know if u have Suncom and if you are satisfied. THANKS
I have had this phone for about 2 weeks now, and I feel it is a great product. I can pretty much answer any and all the questions I have read above. I know a few extra tricks that aren’t mentioned above as well — i.e. how you can convert you mp3 to ring tones easily. I do have one question for anyone out there – How do i get the phone to work with t-mobile’s internet? I can not send picture mail nor connect to the open web. Other then question, I love the product. The alarm in this phone can wake the dead. lol Also the best way to appreciate this phone is to set your shortcut keys to your preference. You can use any major carrier’s SIM card. That means this phone comes unlocked to any network. But the user must purchase SIM card from one of the major carriers like Cingular or AT&T. pre-paid phone sim card will also work.

You people are nuts…paying $250 or more for a Iphone clone? You know the iPhone 8GB will be $299 after Thanksgiving…and you risk taking a phone that many people seem to be selling…after they used it and realize it is not so good…sigh

after doing about an hour of researching this phone on the net and getting know where i did the smart thing called my damn provider and i found out the fallowing:
You can not change the sim just by putting a new one in. you must call the provider you want and have the phone activated with that company.
the reason the phone frezes on you is because the new soft wear installed on the phone is steal prof. if you do not have it activated with your sim card from the company you want it with it will frez.
There is not a problem with the phone itself. They got smart and installed a anti theft program.

I also bought the cect p168 but how do I listen to the voice mail? Normally you need to dial your own number but when you do it says unable to connect. Why? Something wrong?

Can anyone tell me how to switch my sim card from my old phone to the new iphone. I have put in the slot that stats s1 but it wont bring up phone book or any of pictures.. my carrier is t-moble. Was i stupid to buy the phone from my friend who might i add just but a wings from t-moble?

I have read the comments and have only one question, where in China can you find a CECT P168 or the Hua Long IP2000? I travel in China often and tried in Tianjin and Beijing to locate both of these models with no luck. Does anybody have a contact name phone number (person that speaks a little English)and location.

hey just got my cect168 looks great and have been able to transfer info from old phone but front page comes up with emergency anyone out therethat can lead me in the right direction as i dont really want to send it back here in oz with 3 network thanks
My problem is that when i put my att sim card in the phone cectp168 it says emergency insted of att on slot 1 and on slot 2 it says sim access error.woul somebody please help me.

the D99i has upgraded headphones (not the cheap ones) – i also got the p168 and was impressed at first. Then i noticed the reception was not all that i had expected… i stumbled acrossed this site i found and bought a cect-clone… the D99i by Digitalrise is not only a 2nd generation iphone clone, it has “motion-sensor” function, where you just “shake” the d99i to shuffle through the mp3 song playlists. i show it to my friends and they almost ***t their panties
