Samsung announced the i85 camera-PMP combo, which is the successor of the i7. Samsung i85 is a 8 Megapixel camera with 5x optical zoom, Face Detection, ISO up to 1600 and Advanced Shake Reduction. It can capture 800X592 MPEG4 videos.

Not only a camera, the i85 is also a PMP which supports playback of MP3 music, MPEG4 video. It has a 3-inch LCD display for better viewing experience. It has also a 2.5mm headphone jack.

Samsung i85 has 256MB internal memory and supports SD and SDHC memory card for expansion. It will be available in coming Fall for $349.

Samsung introduces 3 new digital cameras with the Smart Touch interface, 8 Megapixel NV8, 10 Megapixel NV15, and 20 Megapixel NV20.

The 3 new NV cameras all feature Schneider optics with a 3x optical zoom, an ISO rating up to 3200, “improved Advanced Shake Reduction (ASR) feature as well as Samsung’s new Auto Contrast Balance (ACB) and Image Noise Reduction modes”.

NV8, NV15, and NV20 all come with a 2.5-inch LCD display with the Smart Touch user interface which ”enables easy navigation of the cameras’ comprehensive feature sets by simply sliding a finger across the control buttons positioned around the cameras’ 2.5″ LCD screens”.

All of them have 20MB internal memory and supports SD and SDHC memory cards. NV15 and NV20 will be available in 2007 Fall for $299 and $399 respectively while NV8’s price and availability is not yet announced.
