CNET’s editors haver reviewed the Sony Ericsson K790a cellphone. Sony Ericsson K790a features a 3.2 Megapixel auto focus camera with Xenon falsh, a 160k color LCD display, integrated music player that supports MP3 and AAC, Bluetooth with A2DP, 64 MB internal memory and a Memory Stick Micro(M2) card slot.

The good:  The Sony Ericsson K790a offers solid features, superior photo quality, and excellent performance in a sharp, eye-catching package.

The bad: The Sony Ericsson K790a lacks world phone support. Also call volume was a tad low, and the navigation controls were squashed together.

The bottom line: With an amazing selection of features and great performance, the Sony Ericsson K790a is the best camera phone we’ve seen to date.

CNET has reviewed the Samsung NV7 OPS digital camera. THe NV7 OPS is a 7 Megapixel camera with 7x optical zoom, 5x digital zoom, ISO rating up to 1000, a 2.5-inch LCD display and Advanced Shake Reduction (ASR) technology.

Samsung NV7 OPS can record MPEG-4 videos in 640 x 480 resolution. It supports SD and MMC memory cards.
CNET says:
The good:  Long zoom for its size; pause during movie capture; voice notes.

The bad: No optical viewfinder; LCD washes out and has narrow viewing angle; all-around noisy photos with poor white balance; camera automatically mutes audio while zooming in movies.

The bottom line: The Samsung NV7 OPS’ novel, engaging interface can’t compensate for merely adequate performance and so-so photo quality.
