Canon iVIS HG10 AVCHD Camcorder with 40GB HDD

Canon introduced the new iVIS HG10, a camcorder with a 40GB hard drive. HG10 can be considered as the improved version of the HR10. The iVIS HG10 features a 2.96 Megapixel CMOS sensor, 10x optical zoom and a 2.7-inch LCD display.
HG10 supports the AVCHD standard that it can record video at Full HD 1920×1080 resolution. Other than HDD, HG10 supports also MiniSD memory cards.

please, help us. we are not able to transfer our video file to our computer. how? and what cord do we used. what is HDMI ? and what is component out?. can we used this as bridge to transfer our video file to computer for editing. please respond ASAP. our cam corder is iVIS HG10 40GB.
