anyone know how to get internet on the cect 168 for rogers gsm? phone is great other than this.

  18. Jeanette on March 13th, 2008

I have not yet heard anyone say how to fix it if you put your AT&T sim card in and have NO SERVICE.

Other than calling and having them activate the phone?

The default security code is 1122.

    Hi,

When I go to the menu and try to open up email, I get the message “click online mode.” How do I do this?

    Thanks. R

  21. Jeanette on March 20th, 2008

    OK i’ve learned since.
If you get the NO SERVICE message.
You go into network settings, and if it show’s you have 900 (alone) then you do not have the one that will work in most areas of the US.
Ask them to take it back for the one that is programed to the 800 or 850 i can’t remember which. even though it says it’s listed, if it’s listed with 900 it’s the wrong one.

Hello there I have a a8 its an update to the p168 can anyone tell me how to change the ring tone and the mail tone thank s John

  25. refuse2bstopped on May 31st, 2008

does anyone know, whether the internal memory is also based off of memory cards? If so I think that is VERY cool cause it would mean a person can update the internal memory themselves. And between internal and external can ACTUALLY have an 8gb memory phone.
