Sanyo offers the Xacti DMX-HD700, a HD camcorder that can capture 720p HD videos. Sanyo Xacti DMX-HD700 features a 7 Megapixel CCD sensor, 5x optical zoom, 12x digital zoom, an ISO rating up to 3200. It has a 2.7-inch LCD display.
The HD700 records 720p HD videos in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format on SD memory cards. It supports the SDHC cards up to 8GB.
Sanyo Xacti DMX-HD700 measures 73.7 (W) x 35.0 (D) x 109.0 (H) for 189grams.

I’d rather have a 7 or 8 megapixel cmos sensor than the 4 megapixel one on the hd1000.
