Swedx shows us the Tree-V, a TV made from wood. Swedx Tree-V is a 19-inch LCD TV with Samsung’s HD Ready LCD panel. It features a resolution of 1440×900, 1001:1 contrast ratio, HDMI input and comes with an integrated digital tuner.
19 November 2007 7:09 GMT – Currys and Dixons are to offer exclusive “Tree-Vs” from Swedish manufacturer, Swedx. These wooden televisions and are built with natural Ash, Sapele or Beech wood from sustainable forest sources.

The 19-inch widescreen WXGA+ Tree-Vs have built-in Freeview tuners with 7-day EPG and feature HDMI connections, although are not FUll HD.
There’s also Component, SCART, PC and AV inputs. The Tree-Vs are described as very thin so angled as perfect for wall mounting. Brightness comes in at 450cdm2 and they offer 5ms response time, but, a very low viewing angle of only 80 degrees.
