Samsung is going to ship its DB-UP5000 HD DVD / Blu-Ray dual format player in mid-to0late Decemeber 2007. The dual format player will be priced at $799 USD.
That is, until you consider the combined cost of a $499 $399 PS3 and sub-$200 HD DVD player.
