Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS Digital ELPH Camera

Canon introduces the new PowerShot SD1100 IS digital ELPH camera (also known as IXY DIGITAL 20 IS), which is supposed to be an upgrade to the SD1000. PowerShot SD1100 IS is a 8 Megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom, 4x digital zoom, an ISO rating up to 1600. The SD1100 has the Optical Image Stabilizer System and is powered by Canon’s DIGIC III image processor. It can capture 640 x 480 movie at 30fps.
SD/SDHC Memory Cards, as well as MMC cards are supported. It is available in 5 colors, Bohemian Brown, Pink Melody, Rhythm and Blue, Swing Silver and Golden Tone. It is priced at $249.99.
