Samsung Spinpoint M6 2.5-inch 500GB HDD

We have seen Fujitsu’s 2.5-inch 500GB hard drive before, but it is just not of standard height. Now Samsung offers the new Spinpoint M6, which is a the first standard height 2.5-inch hard drive to have 500GB capacity. “Samsung’s using some Perpendicular Magnetic Recording tech to cram everything in, stuffing three 167GB platters into the 5400rpm drive”. It will be available soon for $299.
Samsung offers also the SH-S223, which is the fastest 22x DVD burner. It supports SATA interface.

I have only been using this HDD for a little while, but i have to say that it is very COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!….. but a little expensive! =)
