Only in the general description of the phone keys on page 11 of the LG FLARE Manual is mentioned the voice command feature for dialing.
Nowhere else in the manual can you find instructions on how to place a call using voice command.

The Manual for the LG Flare only mentions the Voice Command feature on page 11, where it gives a general description of the phone keys.
In another part of the manual it gives instructions on how to record the voice command for dialing a number, but it does not tell you how to activate the voice command feature.

Based on the instructions on page 11, either press and release the voice dial/voice memo key on the side of the phone and then after a while it will prompt you for a voice command or press and hold button the talk key and it will prompt you.
