NorhTec Gecko Linux Notebook

NorhTec is preparing its own sub-$300 mini laptop, named Gecko, running Lunix OS. The Gecko is powered by a Via C7M ULV 1Ghz processor, an optional hard drive. It has a 7-inch LCD display.

NorhTec Gecko will run Linpus Linux Lite OS. No word yet on availability and price. Just wait and see if the device can compete with Asus EeePC, Everex Cloudbook, and upcoming ESC G10IL.
