Panasonic Toughbook 19 gets Core 2 Duo

Panasonic updates its Toughbook 19 rugged convertible tablet PC. The Panasonic Toughbook 19 now gets an Intel Core 2 Duo U7500 processor running at 1.06GHz, 1GB of RAM (max 4GB) and 80GB hard drive.

The rugged Toughbook 19 comes with a 10.4-inch LCD touchscreen, and you may want to get the optional GPS receiver, optional integrated WWAN that supports EV-DO or HSDPA, optional 2 Megapixel webcam.

It runs Windows Vista Business OS. The Toughbook 19F is now available for $3,199 and the Toughbook 19 that comes with integrated camera will be available in May for $3699.
