iRex Technologies introduces the iLiad Book Edition, which is a lightweight e-book reader with 50 e-books pre-loaded. The iRex iLiad Book Edition is powered by an Intel XScale 400MHz processor and 64MB RAM, 256MB falsh memory.

It has a 8.1-inch 768×1024 XGA display that supports touch input with the integrated Wacom Penabled sensor board Stylus (Wacom Slim Pen). Supported formats include PDF, HTML, TXT, JPG, BMP, PNG and PRC (Mobipocket). There is a 3.5-mm stereo headphone mini-jack. It measures 217×155x16mm and weighs 435 grams.
