RIM BlackBerry Bold Smartphone

RIM has officially announced the BlackBerry Bold smartphone, which is previously known as BlackBerry 9000. BlackBerry Bold is a 3G smartphone with quad-band GSM and HSDPA support.

The Bold is powered by an Intel PXA270 624MHz processor, 128MB Flash memory and 1GB of ROM. The phone has also a 480×320 display, a 2 Megapixel camera with 5x digital zoom, and SureType QWERTY keypad.

The BlackBerry Bold supports also GPS navigation with BlackBerry Maps, Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11a/b/g connectivity. The integrated media player plays MP3, WMA, AAC, DivX4, and WMV3 media files. There is also a microSD/SDHC memory card slot.
