CECT P168C Dual SIM iPhone Clone

CECT updates its P168 iPhone clone and launches the P168C, which adds support for GSM 850,1800,1900MHz network frequency. Like the CECT P168, the new P168C has a 3-inch LCD touchscreen, a 2 Megapixel camera, integrated media player that supports MP3 and MPEG4 playback, a microSD card slot and Bluetooth.
The CECT P168C has dual SIM card slot.

TJ is incorrect about not being able to access internet and have email capability. You have to set your settings to the carrier you are subscribed to. This phone is definitely not user friendly, but with some research I was able to connect and receive email. I have a t-mobile account and followed their instructions on manually selecting web access using WAP.
I just received cect phone i68 and cant access internet.I have internet with AT&T but phone wont recognize it…
I purchased the P168C on ebay. If you only want a phone that looks like the Iphone, then the P168C is for you. If you are like me and want the Internet features and email capabilities, DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE! It is not email capable due to a failure by the developer to include “Authentication” feature. Basically, it is a phone and a text messenger. The MP3 player has very basic graphics and the camera is horrible.

I recently bought the cect P168c phone. I cannot get the handwriting function to work when I write a message and I need to use the keyboard. Does anyone know how I can fix this? the other thing is when i send a message and the message has gone the outbox remains 0. How can i view my sent messages?
It’s not a bad solution if you wanna use two cards standby at the same time, and if you live in USA, you must by the quad band version.
I bought a new P168c and I must say it is a very nice phone. And yes mine is quad band. So far I think it has very good functionality for its price. The dual sim capability gives it a real edge.

Just wondering, my wife and I are looking at buying 2 P168 from a phone dealer in Western Australia, and I will be looking at running the 2 sim cards simultanesouly, we are looking at paying $398AUD, is this a good buy or should we wait to find something later down the track.

how do i add applications to this phone
Nope…..did that and more and it still won’t come on ….held it down several time for more than a minute still nothing ..no sign of life….. Does anyone know someone who can fix this thing? Thank you!
Nope Still Does not work …held it down for quite a while ..several times…nothing at all no further sign of life.
Flo try holding down the red dissconnect button
longer about 5 sec to 8 secondss. Then it should turn on maybe a little longer i didnt count.

i just bought a p168c and i downloaded a song and i want to use it as a general ringtone but i have no idea how to!
while in the middle of a call, press the green phone icon on the bottom of the phone and it will take you to the keyboard so that you can use it as a touchtone phone
I bought a P168C phone but I can’t find a way to use the phone keypad while in the middle of a phone call. This means I can’t delete my voice messages or select any options that require a touchtone phone. Does anyone know of a solution to this?
Apple does have the iphone for 199 BUT with two year contract INCLUDING data plan.

You can delete voice mail messages and whatnot by clicking on the little green phone icon on the bottom and it will take you to the keypad.

I just bought the cect p168c and so far I’m very happy with it, It’s a cool little phone and at a fraction of the cost of an Iphone. But I have 2 questions, Since it doesn’t support java how do you get games for it? And I can check my voice mail but how do you go about deleting voice mail messages i.e. “Press 7 to delete this message” Thanks

This is for th P168C internet and MMS set up. It will explain step by step hoe to do it.
I purchased the P168C from Ebay and love it. It did not come with a good manual, but I have been able to figure out most of the functions except for the video. I have tried to load mpeg and mp4 into the phone but can’t get it to regonize the formats. I have loaded lots of mp3 music and have had no problem. I am an intermediate techie and have had no other problems. I think it’s well worth the money. The phone I purchased came with the 2G memory card, and my GSM Sim card works perfectly with it. Have not tried 2 Sim cards yet, but this is supposedly the model that allows 2 to work simultaneously. All for $140. I would recommend it if you don’t mind a no brand phone.

I bought this P168C phone. I tried to use it with an AT&T Cingular 3G SIM card but it does not recognize it. I tried two different cards and both have the same issue.
I bought it at ebay and am trying to contact the seller but it seems like the seller is no more active member of the ebay anymore.
Does any one know how to correct this problem and or contact the manufacture for replacement/repair/refund?

I have seen 2 different ones called the P168C and p168C . The P168C had the new single screen more like the iphone and the P168C had the old software screen. The P168C was much nicer than the p168C . the P168S looks a lot different than the others and is updated as well. All 3 have the dual sim working together. I have them on http://www.zydaglo.com

I like the style of the phone…it was an impulse buy based on looks alone. This phn won’t allow you to press any numbers while on (ex., “for english press #1; to enter your acct. number, etc.) It’s so sensative to the touch it will hang up the call if your earring barely touches it…I should have waited…

I’m defently not a techy, I like the phone, but have no clue on how to tranfer the music I download into the phone, into the mp3 player. p.s do you think you could send me some step by step instruction on how to do that. the instruction manual doesn’t give you much to go on. thank you.
i just bought the P168c iphone on ebay for 160.us and i wish i didn’t. it has a very small memory under 2Gb but i’ll have to extend it’s memory to a 2Gb. Anyways, Apple iphone 3GB is on sale for like 199, and it has so many more features than this one. It’s basic, but I guess it gets the job done as an iphone. I just spent a while w/my phone provider to figure out what type of phone I actually had and how to get the WAP to start connecting, etc. I’m definately not a techie, but I finally got it to work properly. It’s a great phone for someone who doesn’t need to download lots of music or movies, like me, I’m a mom and I just need the basics of a neat looking phone!

check your web site and correct these:
P168, P168 is TRI band, not quadband
LH01 is TRI band, not quadband
A88 is TRI band, not quadband
all of your iphone style phones should be TRI band phones, you don’t have that true quad band phone: i68/sciphone
aiwahn industrial manufactured all these,but seems the speed of information so fast than the real market.

Where are you getting your information? If you look on Ebay, it says the screen is 3.5″ and the camera is VGA resolution.
