IBM Roadrunner Supercomputer powered by Cell

IBM shows the worlds the Roadrunner supercomputer, which is powered by IBM’s Cell processor that is used on the PS3, and a few of AMD Opteron processor. The new Roadrunner supercomputer is twice as fast as the BluGene/L and delivers a processing power of 1.026 quadrillion calculations per second.
