Sony Walkman NWZ-S718F

PCMag has done a review on Sony’s Walkman NWZ-S718F media player. The NWZ-S718F is a flash-based media player with 8GB storage capacity. It supports MP3, WMA, WAV and AAC music formats, MPEG4 video and JPEG images.

Bottom Line
The NWZ-S718F offers fairly effective built-in noise reduction, and although the user interface is a bit drab and file support could be improved, it’s a better-than-average PMP.

Pros
Compact design. Screen is sharp and bright. Excellent sound quality. Built-in noise cancellation. Customizable EQ. Earphones are better than the bundled earbuds of most players.

Cons
User interface is dull. Cluttered with buttons. Mediocre video file support. Noise reduction works only with the included earphones.
