Samsung announced its TruDirect SE-T084M external DVD SuperMulti burner. It can write DVD+ R and DVD-R at 8X, DVD+R/-R Dual layer at 6X and DVD-RAM at 5X.
Samsung’s new TruDirect SE-T084M allows users to have real-time DVD burning meaning that users can burnÂ DVDs without a hard drive for caching files.

Samsungâ€™s External TruDirect[tm] drive weighs less than one pound and even works without a power cord. To make a DVD movie with TruDirect[tm], users only need to connect a digital video camera to their PC, press â€˜PLAYâ€™ on the camera, click the TruDirect shortcut icon that pops up in the TruDirectâ„¢ program window, and then click the â€˜RECORDâ€™ icon. All you need is a PC and TruDirectâ„¢ to turn wherever you are into a true DVD creation studio.
