Sony intros new LCD Projector with BrightEra

Sony announced at the InfoComm a bunch of new LCD projectors, including the VPL-EX50, VPL-EX5, VPL-EW5. They are the new generation of the VPL-E series of compact models and they are based on the BrightEra technology that is designed to produce a higher aperture ratio, deliver brighter images.

There is also VPL-FX41, which is able to produce XGA images. VPL-FX40 and VPL-FE40 offers 4000 or 5000 lumens brightness.

Sony introduces also VPL-FW300L and the VPL-FH300L high end models for “larger venues. They offers 7000 lumens and 6000 lumens brightness respectively. VPL-FW300L can produce 1366 x 800 WXGA+ images while the offers 2048 x 1080 ultra high resolution.
