I also have an Acer Aspire One with the specs you described, and my cursor constantly jitters and becomes frozen on a y-axis so that I have to turn the mousepad off and use an external mouse. I'm considering exchanging it (bought off Newegg) and I'm hoping the next one will arrive without the problems that have plagued me from day one.
