Keruve GPS locator for Alzheimer patients

Spanish company, Keruve presents a GPS locator designed for users to keep watch on Alzheimer’s patients. The devices comes in two parts, a PSP-like handheld device showing the location and a bracelet for patients to wear.
Other than GPS, the device supports also A-GPS, that utilize cell tower triangulation of GSM1800 and GSM900 mobile network to determine the position.
It is available in Europe for 850 Euro.

Very true that with GPS locator we can save lives of patients with Alzheimer’s / dementia. I have heard similar GPS locator from Securus Inc, i.e. eCare GPS tracking system . One unique feature of eCare tracker is the Alert button which on pressing, allows patients to intimate the caregivers, if they get lost or need assistance during emergency.
