Panasonic ToughBook CF-52 series gets Centrino 2

Panasonic announced its new ToughBook CF-52 rugged notebooks that are based on Intel’s Centrino 2 technology. Two models are available, CF-52EW1AJS and CF-52EW1AAS. Both of them are water-resistant and passed 76cm drop-down test.
The new ToughBook CF-52 is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 2.4GHz processor, 1GB (max 2GB) of RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 graphics and a 160GB hard drive.
The new ToughBook 52 offers a 15.4-inch LCD display with 1920×1200 resolution, a DVD SuperMulti burner, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.0 and a SD card slot.
The two models are acuatlly the same, except that the CF-52EW1AJS will use 2GB of hard drive space for storing the data for system recovery.
To be released in 6 October, both of them run Windows Vista
Business with Service Pack 1.
