Western Digital VelociRaptor WD3000BLFS 2.5-inch 10,000RPM HDD
Western Digital (WD) announced the VelociRaptor WD3000BLFS, a 2.5-inch enterprise-class hard drive with 10,000 RPM speed. The new 2.5-inch VelociRaptor runs with SATA 3 Gb/s interface and offers 16 MB cache.
The hard drive comes with the Rotary Acceleration Feed Forward technology for optimized performance. The new 2.5-inch VelociRaptor is also eco-friendly as it consumes 35 percent less power than the previous generation of WD Raptor drive.
The VelociRaptor WD3000BLFS should be available at the end of the month.
