Samsung B308 and B289 Entry-levle Phones

Samsung offers the B308 and B289 entry-level mobile phones. The B in the model name simply stands for ‘Basic”. Both of them are clamshells.
Samsung B308 (aka B300) is a dual-band GSM phone with a 1.5-inch CSTN display, FM tuner, support for MP3 ringtone, Java games and USB connectivity. It does not support GSM 1900 MHz standard in the North America.
Next is Samsung’s B289, which is a CDMA phone. It is more basic than the B308 offering a 1.52-inch CSTN display, 500 contact and 200 SMS capacity. It has big number keys.
