Hitachi DZ-BD10HA – Blu-ray / HDD / SDHC HD Camcorder

Hitachi introduces the DZ-BD10HA, the so-called next generation Blu-ray Disc Hybrid Camcorder. Hitachi DZ-BD10HA features a newly developed 7 mega pixel CMOS image sensor capable in capturing FullHD (1920 x 1080) High Definition videos.
Other than the 8cm BD/DVD drive, the DZ-BD10HA comes with also an integrated 30GB hard drive and a SDHC card slot for storing videos. Users can use the One-Touch Dubbing feature that can transfer HD video from the SDHC card or hard drive to a Blu-ray disc all within the camcorder, without using the computer.
Hitachi DZ-BD10HA offers also Face Detection technology, Optical Image Stabilization (O.I.S), and editing functions such as split, splice, delete, merge, and transitions.
Hitachi DZ-BD10HA with 30GB hard drive will be available in Japan and North America on August and in September 2008 respectively. It has a Manufacturers Advertised Price of $999.
