Hope you don't mind my review of the Fujifilm Finepix J110w.

After I broke my digital camera which I wont name, I decided to go with the Fujifilm Finepix J110w. I was attracted to the advertised features... 5x zoom, 10 Megapixel. And the only thing I can say good about the camera was the zoom for taking photos, that's it.

About photo quality, with the Fujifilm Finepix J100w, the images look like someone sprinkled pepper over them, also slightly blocky, overcooked. My old digital camera's photos look great at 7.2 Megapixel. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the Fujifilm's Finepix J110w photos are processed at 72.000 pixels per inch compared to my old camera's photos at 180.000 pixels per inch. Discovered this when I looked up the information of photos taken by both camera's with Paint Shop Pro. I thought 10 Megapixels was a step up. Maybe with another brand.

My old camera allowed you to zoom while recording digital videos. Fujifilm Finepix J110w wont allow this while recording videos. You have to zoom in before you start recording with Finepix. To zoom out with Finepix, you have to stop recording, zoom out, then record again. What's up with that?

With my old camera, once it detected a face, another screen appeared and zoomed in on the face to show you it's focused. Finepix J110w doesn't offer this option, but it does focus, but like I stated above, the images will look slightly blocky and peppered.

Overall, if you're looking for a 10 megapixel digital camera, Fujifilm's Finepix J100w is a poor choice. Quality wise, it's about 5 years behind.
