Lenovo IdeaPad U8 MID launched

Lenovo launched in China during the Olympics the new IdeaPad U8 Mobile Internet Device. U8 is the only MID with the Beijing Olympics branding. It is powered by an Intel processor (probably Atom), up to 2GB of memory and 6GB flash memory. U8 has a 4.8-inch touchscreen, WiFi 802.11b/g, support for GPS, EDGE and China’s 3G standard, TD-SCDMA, and dual cameras.
The IdeaPad U8 can also support the CMMB (China Multimedia Mobile Broadcasting) digital TV standard with the additional USB dongle.
