Samsung BD-P2550 Blu-ray Player

BesyBuy offers the new Samsung BD-P2550 Blu-ray player that replaces the BD-P2400. Other than Blu-ray video discs, the Samsung BD-P2550 can also play BD-ROM, BD-R and BD-RE discs.
It supports also DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD-ROM, CD and CD-R/RW discs and is able to upconver DVD video to HDTV-compliant 720p or 1080p via the HDMI interface. The player is compatible with VC-1, MPEG2 and H.264 formats and offers 10-bit/108MHz video digital-to-analog (D/A) conversion and 24-bit/192kHz audio digital-to-analog (D/A)converter.
The Samsung BD-P2550 features also support for Dolby Digital Plus and lossless Dolby TrueHD (7.1-channel). It has a component output, a composite output and HDMI port.
This new Blu-ray player costs $499.99.
