IO-Data introduces in Japan the GV-MACTV, a digital TV Tuner for Mac. This so-called Mac TV digital TV makes use of USB 2.0 to connect to our Mac. The GV-MACTV can receive terrestrial digital broadcasting signals and bring HD TV shows to your Mac. The device comes with a B-CAS slot card that allows your to control it using the Apple Remote. It measures 98 (W) x— 25 (H) x— 92 (D) mm.

BTW in Brazil cable TV uses the european DVB-C standard encrypted.

how much I have to pay if I need that one?
These Mac TV would sell a lot in Brazil, where the ISDB-Tb standard was implemented without B-CAS and using H.264 (Mpeg4 part 10) video codec instead of the Mpeg2 video codec that was implemented early in Japan.
Today in Brazil there are selling many USB tuner solutions for Windows, 1Seg and FullSeg, but there is no ISDB-Tb solutions for Mac yet.
